  • FREE DIRECTORY WITH MEMBERSHIP! 
    Access a complete and full directory of every physician working in Cabarrus County. Updated yearly, each listing includes the doctor's medical specialty and address, as well as the contact information and names of their spouses, and names and ages of their children. Once you've paid your annual dues of $40, you'll be emailed a copy of the directory in PDF format or receive it in the mail on CD-Rom for Free (indicate your preference--email or mail--on the membership form).

    GREAT MISSION STATEMENT!
    The CCMSA is a group of spouses of physicians and female physicians and PAs (physician's assistants) who form a statewide nonprofit charitable organization devoted to advancing the health of North Carolinians through advocacy and action.

  • HELP YOUR COMMUNITY!
    Your membership fee directly helps the local community. No matter what your level of participation, you will be part of our medical family. Even if you just pay your dues, you have a positive impact on the Alliance. And if you come to our events or volunteer for a project, you'll have fun and meet new people while making a difference. One of our most popular, truly hands-on project involves screening every 2nd and 5th grade student in Cabarrus County for vision problems. Another event is the annual golf tournament we host to provide funding to keep a nurse in every school in Cabarrus County.

  • MEET NEW PEOPLE!
    Enjoy multiple opportunities to socialize with others who understand the blessings and curses that come with being married to a physician. The Member Directory, funded by your dues, is a great way for us to stay connected as medical families and form long-lasting relationships.


  • STATEWIDE NETWORK!
    The state trains our leaders, offers annual educational symposia, raises funds to provide physical education equipment to needy schools throughout the state, and represents us at the state legislature.
  • POLITICAL ACTIVISM!
    Legislature brings us to the national level of membership. Maintaining a strong voice in Washington, D.C. is increasingly important as lawsuits rise and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement falls. Critical decisions are being made that affect the quality of health care and our livelihoods through determination of funding, payment schedules and reimbursement fees, and a strong lobby is vital to having our voices heard. 
  • NEW PLACES! 
    Events are held at multiple locations, depending on the activity. Past events have been at member's houses, restaurants, theaters, cooking schools, wine rooms, or anywhere else with space for all of us!
  • FUN! FUN! FUN!
    We have fun while making a difference! Come see who's involved and make some new friends in a casual, friendly atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you!
